Urge Governor Cuomo to sign drinking water contaminant bill

A bill that passed the New York State Legislature earlier this year to protect New Yorkers and the environment from toxic chemicals await Governor Cuomo’s signature. The legislation would begin to phase out toxic PFAS fire-fighting foam in New York, which contaminated the City of Newburgh’s primary water supply. PFAS foam poses risks to public health and clean water.

Please urge the governor to sign legislation phasing out toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” in firefighting foam. Protecting clean water and the public health cannot wait.
