Protect the Hudson - Donate today!
The Hudson River is under attack. Holtec International, the firm responsible for decommissioning Indian Point, has stated its plans to discharge radioactive wastewater into the river. Worse yet, according to Holtec, these discharges may occur as early as August, at the peak of the recreational season. We need your help to fight this terrible plan.
By supporting Riverkeeper’s science, advocacy, legal challenges and more, you will help us fight the many threats to the Hudson. Your donation will help us heal the river, restore fish and other wildlife, and safeguard thousands of people who depend on the Hudson for clean drinking water by fighting for the safe decommissioning of Indian Point, pushing GE to get PCBs out of the Hudson, and acting as watchdogs to holding polluters accountable along the entire Hudson River.
By giving today, you’ll become a member of Riverkeeper, helping in our fight to protect and restore the Hudson River. As a member you’ll be informed about water-related challenges through our email updates and “action alerts” that will prompt you to act on important threats to the Hudson. You can also meet other members through volunteer opportunities and events. Please donate and become a member today.
