You did it! Let's make sure the NY Environmental Bond Act passes
The last environmental bond act, approved over 20 years ago by New York State voters, continues to improve water quality and wildlife habitat across the Hudson River Estuary while providing benefits to New Yorkers and visitors who support the state’s robust tourism economy. By passing the Bond Act, we can improve water quality, reduce air pollution, modernize water, wastewater, and transportation infrastructure, and protect communities from extreme heat, flooding, and drought. We need the Bond Act to protect the health, safety, and prosperity of all New Yorkers.
The first thing you can do to help is become a Riverkeeper member. Your gift of any amount will pwer our advocacy to make sure this once-in-a-generation initiative passes next year.
If the Bond Act passes, and New Yorkers vote YES next fall, we'll be able to give New York’s wildlife and Hudson River fish, in particular -- which have been stressed by the climate crisis and years of exploitation -- a fighting chance to recover and thrive.
Between now and November 2022, we'll send you information about how you can support this bold initiative and bring your friends and family on board, too.
Your gift today will allow us to spread the word about voting YES to Environmental Bond Act this November.
A donation of any amount makes you a Riverkeeper Member and supports our work to defend and restore the Hudson River and safeguard drinking water for millions of New Yorkers. A monthly gift will go even further to sustain this work for the next 18 months!
